Celtic Goddess of Creative Inspiration + Nice Person

 

We met Brigit a few years ago. Who is she?

 

Brigit is the patron saint and Celtic goddess of creative inspiration. There is a lot to read about her and several variations of her story, but to us she symbolizes wisdom, excellence, poetic elegance, craftsmanship and is largely associated with home and hearth. She is the fire goddess, and Brigit’s fire is the fire of creativity. She is equal to the Greek goddess Athena, the Hindu goddess Saraswati, and Egytpian goddess Isis…so, pretty much a badass.
